Those sepia tinted memories of your childhood birthday parties replete with a vintage cake with a huge bow, and beads hanging from it, always manage to make you smile. If you want to relive those days and enjoy a vintage cake, then dont head out to the old by lanes simply join the baking course by Palate Culinary Studio. This baking course will help you in making a plethora of cupcakes with bows, beads, stencils and decorations of your choice. So the next time its your kids birthday or a friends party, surprise the guests with these decorated cakes and be an instant hit. After all old is gold.

Here you can learn retro and vintage stencilling on cupcakes and piping with royal icing. This class is for beginners and intermediates who want to learn new skills to increase their cupcake repertoire. The focus of the class is making cupcakes that are graceful, light and full of summer nostalgia.

You will try out all techniques for yourself including how to use stencils to make relief patterns, how to paint pictures with stencils and how to make shimmering stencil designs. You will be surprised by how many different ways there are to use stencils to decorate your cupcakes. This class is where we focus on all things elegant and dainty. We will teach you about colour palettes and designs that are appropriate to this style of cupcake whether your interest is in creating in-vogue vintage pastel cupcakes or a more flamboyant take on retro styles. Who Oye?
