The Blueberry Trails is proud to present its first session of Music in the Great Outdoors in our favourite campsite in Panchgani. We have started these weekend trips keeping in mind the music lover who also enjoys his/her time in the outdoors. The trip is designed to be an outdoorsy experience with the stay in a simple campsite over looking one of the best sights that you would want to wake up to. Nestled in the colonial town of Panchgani, it is a 5 minute walk from the market yet retains a dreamy and charming feel to it.

The Plan!

Leave from Mumbai at 9 am to reach Panchgani by 2pm in an air conditioned bus. Settle into the campsite and do lunch, explore the sights and sounds that surround, catch strawberries and cream and enjoy the chaos of this hill-station's market. Reach back the campsite by 6pm where bonfire will start crackling. A DIY barbeque will follow suite and we can all relax around the fire until the band starts the show. Dishcordian will play a set of one and a half hours and amidst the set you get to interact with the band closely. The music under the starlight and a bonfire going is the USP of this weekend. Dinner will be served in the campsite. Homecooked meals prepared by our local masterchef is on offer.

Next day we do breakfast at the campsite itself and then we leave by 11am to be back in the city by 5pm.

DISCHORDIAN: A Mumbai based quartet comprising of Garreth, Howard, Agnelo and Nigel have been a part of the Indie since 2009. Their sound is dreamy, folksy primarily grounded in folk, punk, and blues. A perfect blend for an acoustic session. They released their debut album in April 2011 and have performed in all leading festivals around the country
